SoftTech has added HUDA (Haryana Urban Development Authority) to its clientele for its product AutoDCR in collaboration with IBM.
The application will enable scrutiny and approval of fresh building plans across three locations in Haryana to start with. The software is designed to automatically detect and scrutinize building proposals submitted by Architects. The drawings will be mapped to the Building Control Rules of HUDA and ensure compliance as well as transparency in the process.
HUDA today has become the leading organization in the country to have implemented various citizen centric e-governance initiatives to facilitate the G to C Services. These initiatives have been appreciated by Government of India on various occasions.
AutoDCR as a core building plan approval product will be supported by IBM’s Cognos for Reporting and Analytics. It will provide the authorities with incisive analytics and dashboards which will them to monitor the progress and issues related to the approval of fresh building plans. In addition IBM’s FileNet Content Manager will provide end-to-end content management including search, annotation, check-in/check-out and archival facilities.
AutoDCR is a unique and innovative product which was launched in 2005 in the market and in less than 10 years have received various national and international awards like The World Leadership Awards, 2007, Manthan Asia Award 2010 (e-Governance category) ,Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration, and the e-Maharashtra award 2012.
AutoDCR has also been selected as the most essential and effective tool for implementing best practices in Building Plan Approval process by JNNURM under The Ministry of Urban Development, Govt. of India.
