Web based ERP solution OPTICON being developed exclusively for integrating the processes and operations of a construction enterprise. The OPTICON architecture works the following way.



Major Modules of OPTICON :

Engineering -
This module is heart of OPTICON. In this module estimates can be prepared either with the help of graphics or by manual calculations. These estimated quantities are carried forward for further processing like requisition of materials and accounting. This module generates Measurement Book and Running Bills. In Running bills, quantities can be taken either from measurement book or tender. With help of project management module project schedule can be prepared and this helps in keeping track of day to day activities and resource requirements.

Purchase -
Purchase Management covers supplier profile, their comparison and ranking. It links purchase to planning, estimation and inventory control and includes invitation for quotations to TDS calculation.

Inventory -
Inventory Management commences from material receipt and goes on to valuation, issues, transfers, stock adjustments to inventory analysis as usage value, stock value, age, dead, dormant and slow moving and report on each aspect of inventory for better control.

Sales and Marketing -
Sales and marketing takes in to account the elements of CRM from presales to post-sales activities with templates for customer correspondence, enquiry, customer follow up, booking details, payment schedule, auto invoicing, part payments, agents particulars, projected sales and cash flow to management reports.

Accounts -
Accounts Management treats various masters, Credit Vouchers, External Vouchers, Inter company Transfers, Journal vouchers, Bank reconciliation, Purchase vouchers, trial balance and balance sheet.

Web Server is located at HO connecting different sites to transfer the data to and fro using Co-Server which is a collaborative computing web application server developed by CoVisible Solutions Inc, USA. CoServer provides modules to develop web-based applications where collaboration is needed among people with different roles (Project Manager at Site, Decision Managers at H.O with a future provision to connect others agencies if needed)
